About the role

Crest Innovative Industries is seeking a talented Accounting Staff to join our dynamic team in Davao City, Davao del Sur. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in our Accounting and Financial Reporting division, contributing to the overall financial success of our organization.

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger entries
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and organizational policies
  • Perform bank reconciliations and cash management tasks
  • Support the month-end and year-end close process
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of financial processes and controls
  • Prepare and send progress billing statements to clients based on project milestones and contract terms
  • Follow up on client payments and address billing inquiries or disputes.
  • Maintain accurate records of all billing transactions
  • Ensure PDCs/on date checks/cash are prepared and scheduled for timely payment to suppliers
  • Encode data from purchasing dept (Purchase Orders)

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field
  • Preferably with experience in Construction Field but Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting and data analysis
  • Proficient in the use of financial software and spreadsheet applications
  • Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
