HOSPITAL CASHIER STAFF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

CRITICAL OBJECTIVE:

  • To provide efficient service for in and out patients with total care and courteousness through cashiering.
  • To daily update and maintain accurate records of expenses and collection daily.
  • To Furnish and facilitate reports and documents needed by the Accounting Office.
  • To do other task as maybe assigned by the Business Office head.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVE:

1: Patient-Hospital related Objectives:

a. Always greet the patients good morning or good afternoon with a smile.

b. Always entertain patients courteously and exercise patients at all times.

c. Be ready and efficient on the documents needed to be provided to patients.

d. To receive payments from patients, Insurance Companies, Philhealth and others.

e. To ensure that all collections are properly documented and accounted.

f. To ensure that all collections for the day are deposited intact for the following day,

2. To maintain daily reports and log books on :

  • Hospital Bills
  • Professional Fees ( Distributed hand on hand)
  • Petty Cash Funds ( Voucher/ Replenishment)

3. Admin Related Duties:

a) To submit daily accurate remittances report to Accounting Office with the following:

  • Daily Sales report
  • Deposit Slip
  • Update Passbook

b. ) Report Accounting Office in case of any abnormalities arises in the computer system.

4. Other Task:

  • Follow up doctors / consultants to get their P.F.
  • Follow up patients with promissory note.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • A graduate of Bachelors Degree in Accountancy / Finance or its equivalent from an accredited School/University.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Must be highly motivated and must be keen to details.
  • Must be trustworthy .
  • Ability to perform basic and complex management.
  • Ability to work fast-paced high stress environment and have strong customer service skills.
  • Strong math and computer skills

Job Types: Permanent, Fresh graduate
