We are hiring for the position of Documentation Engineer( Mechanical and Electrical) for a contracting company located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Handle project documentation both in electronic and hardcopy format, throughout the project lifecycle in a standardized manner.
  • Provide guidance to the project team on documentation management principles
  • Enforce document management discipline, as required by the applicable system and/or project procedures
  • Ensure the input data for project registers is received through formal channels, data is recorded in these registers and communicated to the project team whenever there are updates;
  • Cooperate with the project management and administration team in order to correctly identify documents received from the client;
  • Clarify with the Client the status of client sent/received documents;
  • Transmit the project documentation to all project stakeholders via officially approved channels as per the project communication plan and performs all tasks associated with this process;
  • Prepare the project documentation for the archiving process in accordance with standard procedure;
  • Designing templates for documents, file types, and document databases.
  • Checking and editing documents for accuracy and compliance.
  • Controlling the flow of documents in and out of the department.
  • Maintaining the security of confidential documents.
  • Assisting employees with accessing documents through our document management system.
