This can be made clearer by way of example. For the financial services platform, the resulting ecosystem has the following participants:

• Financial institutions such as rural bank and non-bank financial institutions (coops, lenders, etc.)

• Financial service providers that leverage the platform such as lenders and insurers
• Technology providers that build solutions on top of the platform

Role Overview:

The role of the Cloud Security Administrator if to provide technical expertise and support for cloud-related projects and initiatives of the banks processes.

What you will do:

• Monitor systems performance and troubleshoot any anomalies promptly
• Configure and setup roles and permissions & facilitates identity and access management to access the Cloud Environment
• Configure and setup connectivity to Cloud Environment
• Keep the infrastructure current, making recommendations, and participating in the implementation and continues improvement of technologies and services in assigned information security domains
• Logging, monitoring and responding to detected incidents in the cloud environment
• Cloud Security Engineer is expected to be available on outage our cybersecurity incidents that occurs during the weekends/ weekdays. For faster resolution of the outage or cybersecurity incident.

What are we looking for:

• Knowledge of cloud security platforms (AWS and Azure) and cloud-native security controls
• Knowledgeable in basic network and security fundamentals such as; Understanding of Network Protocols & Applications (E.g. TCP/IP, Load Balancing, Route53, Port Forwarding, Firewalls and Etc.)
• Experience with AWS deployments and related services (RDS, EC2, Lambda, S3, IAM CloudWatch, SecurityHub and etc.)
• Knowledgeable in Web-Application Firewall (WAF)
• Experience in CDN Services (Akamai, AWS WAF)
• Basic Understanding of Cloud Security and Governance
• Excellent Communication skills with the ability to articulate security issues to a diverse audience
• Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex security systems and communication risk and mitigations.
