ShareJob DescriptionDescriptionA Commissioning Engineer (ELV) effectively coordinates, leads, and supervises the quality & commissioning process, including contractual deliverables. Coordinates with all departments to ensure a smooth handover from construction through to commissioning and client handover, including extensive follow-up with contractors, vendors, and the client site team. Roles and ResponsibilitiesCoordinate with all vendors for documentation (Test Scripts, MoS, RA, SOO, DOO, O&M, Red Line Drawings).

Attend weekly commissioning meetings with vendors. Attend daily site commissioning meetings following Power On.

Ensure calibration of all test equipment is valid and up-to-date. Coordinate safety requirements for commissioning activities. Ensure adequate safety signage is installed, including warning labels and contact persons for electrical and mechanical plants.

Coordinate mobilization dates and resources for third-party vendors and commissioning contractors. Coordinate engineering for all interconnections between packages (High Level & Low Level). Liaise with QAQC inspectors for progress updates during installation.

Coordinate with the ELV lead for EPMS/BMS readiness per package as per the commissioning program. Coordinate vendors and subcontractors to close issues without delaying the schedule. Close all commissioning issues raised during FAT and SAT.Support vendors in troubleshooting commissioning issues.

Manage static testing of cabling, ensuring adherence to drawings; escalate deviations immediately. Lead by example in policies, procedures, work ethics, quality, health, and safety. Plan and organize vendor attendance for system-level and integrated system testing demonstrations.

Lead engineers involved in system-level testing and demonstrations. Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations, standards, and procedures. Qualifications & ExperienceElectrical, instrumentation, or mechanical engineering degree or equivalent work experience (10 years) with recognized trade certification.

Over 5 years of experience managing and commissioning ELV systems, including BMS, EPMS, Chiller Plant Manager PLCs, and structured cabling systems. Multi-discipline understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, including ELV.Strong technical expertise in ELV protocols (e.g., BACnet, Modbus), networking, and structured cabling standards. Proven ability to plan, execute, and monitor integration projects.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Analytical mindset for system performance assessment and issue resolution. Proficiency in PC applications (Microsoft Office suite or equivalent).
