As a Bilingual Medical Email Support, you will serve as a vital link between healthcare providers and patients. You will manage high volumes of written correspondence, ensuring that Spanish- and English-speaking patients receive clear, accurate, and compassionate assistance regarding their healthcare needs. This role requires a balance of professional administrative skills and a deep commitment to patient privacy (HIPAA).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Written Communication: Draft, edit, and send professional emails in both Spanish and English, maintaining a consistent and empathetic tone.
  • Patient Inquiries: Respond to questions regarding appointment scheduling, prescription refills, billing inquiries, and general clinic information.
  • Translation & Localization: Accurately translate medical instructions or office policies from English to Spanish to ensure patient comprehension.
  • Data Management: Update and maintain Electronic Health Records (EHR) based on information received via email.
  • Compliance: Ensure all email communication adheres strictly to HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Fluency: Full professional proficiency in written and verbal Spanish and English.
  • Experience: 6 months–2 years in a customer service or administrative role, preferably within a medical or insurance setting.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word), Google Workspace, and familiarity with EHR software.
  • Medical Literacy: Basic understanding of medical terminology in both languages.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting or a customer service role is preferred
  • Available to work the graveyard shift (US EST)
  • Must be able to work onsite in Makati City
  • Available to start as soon as possible
