EDUCATION AND TRAININGS:

  • Graduate of any Engineering or Technical courses
  • At least five (5) years of experience in facilities building and maintenance or related field
  • With strong knowledge in preventive maintenance in a multi skilled building maintenance role (Minor Civil works, carpentry & masonry, painting works etc. 5S, GMP, Microsoft Office and MS Project, ISO, HACCP and Occupational Safety and Health (OSH)

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Excellent in facilities building maintenance aptitude
  • Knowledge in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and welding
  • With background in building preventive maintenance schedules and documentation
  • Can interpret basic building lay-out and used of power tools and measuring equipment's
  • Able to work flexible hours including weekends as needed

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform minor masonry repairs of facilities building (include roofing, concrete finishing and painting
  • Conduct repairs of carpentry work (installation and repair of door, windows, ceiling and furniture etc.)
  • Perform painting works and rust proofing activities of all building facility
  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of the building facility
  • Ensure all maintenance work complies with plant safety policies and standard operating procedures
  • Provide on-call or shift based technical support during production operations
