To be assigned to Mt. Makiling Recreation Center at Sto. Tomas, Batangas

Under the general supervision of the General Manager, the Resident Engineer shall be primarily responsible in coordinating and supervising the day-to-day facility operations, engineering, and maintenance requirements of Mt. Makiling Re-Creation Center.He shall oversee the operations, maintenance and upkeep of building facilities and equipment. Responsible for operating and maintaining electrical, plumbing, mechanical, fire protection and other related engineering systems, he shall also likewise coordinate with contracted service providers the operation of building equipment, and performance of contracted maintenance and repair services, carpentry and other custodial tasks. He shall ensure smooth, safe, and environmentally compliant operation of all machines and facilities by carrying out properly, competently, and timely the facility operations and maintenance management system of Mt. Makiling Re-Creation Center.As deemed necessary and directed by the General Manager, the Resident Engineer shall also oversee implementation of special projects of MMRC. He shall be responsible in the preparation and/or review of pre-bid documents such project inquiry, scope of work, detailed plans and drawing and cost estimates necessary to support efficient execution of project.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Must be a Bible Believing Christian. Preferably member of a D-Group.
  • B.S. Mechanical or Electrical Engineering graduate. Preferably licensed with at least 2 years supervisory experience in facility or equipment maintenance.
  • Knowledgeable in building wiring, motor controls, HVAC, fabrication, welding, plumbing and pipefitting works.
  • Can read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Good leadership quality traits.
  • Computer literate. AutoCAD proficiency is an advantage
