About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Manager to lead the execution, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our utilities and refrigeration systems in support of manufacturing operations. This role ensures optimal performance, reliability, and compliance of all engineering systems, including power, compressed air, chilled water, refrigeration, water treatment, and wastewater treatment.


Key Responsibilities

Maintenance Management

  • Oversee autonomous and preventive maintenance using CMMS.
  • Maintain defect-free equipment and areas.
  • Align maintenance strategies with cross-functional teams.
  • Approve revisions and modifications to preventive maintenance plans.

Refrigeration System Oversight

  • Ensure efficiency and reliability of refrigeration systems.
  • Recommend system upgrades and capacity expansion projects.
  • Build site capabilities including subject matter experts across shifts.

Utilities System Management

  • Guarantee uninterrupted supply of utilities (electricity, air, fuel, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with sanitary, electrical, mechanical, and building codes.
  • Recommend asset acquisitions for future plant needs.

Project Management

  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses and lead Capex approval processes.
  • Deliver projects from feasibility to close-out.
  • Drive Capex reduction and avoidance initiatives.
  • Lead multiple projects and coordinate with start-up teams.

Cost Control & Optimization

  • Monitor and manage maintenance costs, utility consumption, and Capex.
  • Optimize engineering resources and operating expenditures.
  • Lead productivity and savings initiatives.

People Development & Operations Excellence

  • Build team capability to achieve zero unplanned downtime.
  • Develop succession plans and recommend organizational changes.
  • Promote standard methodologies and operational excellence.

Safety, Environment, Health & Quality

  • Champion compliance with HSE regulations.
  • Develop masterplans for regulatory compliance.
  • Build team capability in health, safety, and environmental standards.

Compliance

  • Uphold company policies including GMP, food safety, quality, and safety standards.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in utilities, refrigeration, or plant engineering.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Proficient in CMMS and engineering systems analysis.
  • Knowledge of regulatory codes and compliance standards.
