Job Summary

Must be highly skilled to bridge the gap between development and operations by ensuring smooth, automated, and secure delivery of software applications. This role is responsible for managing CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, container orchestration, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and monitoring systems, while embedding security and compliance across the software delivery lifecycle. The DevOps Engineer will work closely with developers, QA, and operations teams to enhance efficiency, scalability, and reliability of systems.

Key Responsibilities/Duties

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, testing, and deployment.
  • Build and manage cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) to ensure scalability, performance, and cost efficiency.
  • Implement and manage containerization and orchestration solutions (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles using Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent tools.
  • Support developers by providing and maintaining dev/test environments.
  • Set up and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for performance and reliability.
  • Ensure high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Collaborate with product engineers, developers and QA engineers to integrate testing and deployment into delivery workflows.
  • Collaborate with Security Team to ensure security and complianceare embedded in DevOps processes (SecDevOps practices).
  • Implement security best practices across infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Troubleshoot deployment and infrastructure issues, driving fast recovery and minimizing downtime.
  • Research and recommend new tools and practices to improve automation and system efficiency.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • At least 5–8 years of proven expertise as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or in a similar role.
  • Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, etc.).
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation).
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.).
  • Good understanding of security best practices and SecDevOps.
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, Shell, etc.).
