I. Job Summary

The Physical Security Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring the security of PAI's personnel, assets, and facilities, including its subsidiaries. This position is responsible for day-to-day oversight of physical security operations, leading a team of security officers, and supporting in implementing strategic security initiatives to mitigate risks and maintain a secure environment aligned with PAI's commitment to being an ELITE, family-oriented yet professional organization.

II. Roles and Responsibilities

Operational Oversight:

Direct and supervise the daily activities of physical security officers across all assigned shifts and locations.

Ensure strict adherence to PAI's physical security policies, procedures, and post orders.

Conduct regular patrols and inspections of facilities to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security standards.

Manage access control systems, CCTV monitoring, alarm responses, and other physical security technologies.

Oversee the effective deployment and utilization of security personnel and equipment.

Team Leadership & Development:

Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to security officers, fostering a professional and high-performing team.

Conduct on-the-job training and continuous development for security personnel, focusing on best practices in physical security.

Perform regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and address performance issues proactively.

Promote a positive and engaged work environment, addressing officer concerns and fostering strong team morale.

Incident Management & Response:

Serve as a primary responder to all physical security incidents (e.g., unauthorized access, theft, emergencies, disturbances).

Effectively manage and de-escalate critical situations, ensuring the safety of personnel and protection of assets.

Coordinate immediate response efforts with internal departments (e.g., HR, Facilities, IT) and external agencies (e.g., law enforcement, emergency services) as required.

Conduct thorough preliminary investigations, gather evidence, and complete detailed incident reports including conducting field verification.

Compliance & Risk Mitigation:

Ensure all physical security operations comply with relevant industry regulations, internal policies, and best practices.

Proactively identify physical security risks and vulnerabilities, recommending and implementing preventative measures.

Maintain accurate security logs, documentation, and records for audit readiness.

Contribute to the development and refinement of physical security policies and procedures.

Communication & Reporting:

Maintain clear and effective communication with security personnel, management, and other departments.

Prepare comprehensive daily reports, incident reports, and other documentation as required.

Provide timely updates and briefings to the head of security.

III. Qualifications and Education Requirements

Education:

Any bachelor's degree, Criminology and Industrial Security Management preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in physical security operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.

Experience in a corporate or multi-site environment preferred.

Certifications/Licenses:

Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) Certification required.

Valid License to Exercise Security Professional (LSEP) preferred.

First Aid/CPR/AED certification preferred.

Additional security certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP, CPO, CSSM, CSP) are a plus.

IV. Preferred Skills

Strong leadership, supervisory, and team-building skills.

Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.

Proven ability to manage and respond to critical incidents effectively.

Proficiency in using physical security technologies (CCTV, access control systems, alarm monitoring software).

Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities under pressure.

Ability to conduct thorough investigations and generate accurate reports.

Knowledge of relevant security laws, regulations, and best practices.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

V. Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Ability to respond quickly to emergencies and physically intervene if necessary.

Good vision and hearing (with or without correction).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php35, Php40,000.00 per month
