JOB OVERVIEW

As an AU Senior Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining key accounting records. Day-to-day activities include recording transactions such as income and outgoings and posting them to various accounts. Having a broad and varied role, you will need a strong sense of time management and organisational skills.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIE

  • SEnter and categorize transactions using the Xero and QuickBooks softwar
  • eUse Dext to collect, organise, and upload source documents (such as invoices, receipts, statements
  • )Process accounts payable and accounts receivable accurately and in a timely manne
  • rPrepare and process payroll for small business clients, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and deadline
  • sReconcile bank, credit card, and loan accounts weekl
  • yAssist with BAS and IAS preparatio
  • nSupport with month-end and year-end tasks as require
  • dPerform administrative duties such as attaching PDF copies of invoices to transaction
  • sProactively raise potential risks for clients and the business based on data and observations from checks performed and provide recommendations to mitigate impact
  • sAny task deemed necessary by the Team Manager or Service Delivery Manage

QUALIFICATIO**

  • NSShould be a graduate of Finance and or Accounti
  • ngGeneral AU Accounting experience with a solid backgrou
  • ndAt least 4-5 years and above experience in Australian bookkeepi
  • ngKnowledge of Australian G
  • STKnowledge with Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoi
  • ntFamiliar with accounting tools such as Xero, QuickBooks, and De
  • xtAbility to learn new systems and tools as need
  • edEnsures quality of work being delivered without being supervis
  • edDemonstrated creative and critical thinking skil
  • lsAble to work on multiple projects simultaneous
  • lyGood oral and written communication skil
