About the role

Join our friendly team at Daily Supermarket, Inc.' as a full-time Counter Checker for our supermarket located in Cubao, Quezon City, Metro Manila. In this customer-facing role, you will be responsible for accurately checking out customers' purchases at the checkout counter, ensuring a smooth and efficient shopping experience.

What you'll be doing

1. Greet and assist customers at the checkout counter
2. Accurately scan and tally customers' items
3. Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and process returns or exchanges
4. Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing any concerns
5. Maintain a clean and organised checkout area
6. Follow all store policies and procedures to ensure a safe and secure environment

What we're looking for

1. Previous experience as a retail sales associate or cashier, preferably in a supermarket or grocery store setting
2. Strong customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanour
3. Excellent math and money handling skills
4. Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure
5. Good communication and problem-solving skills
6. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
