Job title: Project Engineer (Mechanical)

Responsibilities

  1. Responsible to handle and complete the project within the stipulated cost and schedule.

  2. Attend the project monitoring site work progress.

  3. Prepare daily activities report.

  4. Liaison with the client, suppliers, contractors, and workers.

  5. Deliver good quality work to meet the specified requirement.

  6. Can prepare the technical drawings/layout for any submission to clients, consultants, authorities, etc

  7. Preparation and detailing of design drawings and shop drawings.

  8. Carry out drawing amendments as and when directed.

  9. To carry out drawing management

  10. Undertake any other tasks assigned by the Management

Requirements

  1. Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical).

  2. Knowledge of troubleshooting and maintenance (motors, control systems, control, etc.) preferred.

  3. Willing to be assigned for field work, flexible and can work extended hours if required

  4. Good interpersonal skill with ability to interact well at all levels.

  5. Able to work under tight schedule and minimum supervision.

  6. Mature personality, independent and self-motivated and capable to apply technical skills in decision making.

  7. Candidate must be willing to relocate depending on the project assignment

  8. With at least 3 year experience as Mechanical Engineer

Required skills

  1. Computer knowledge and skill.

  2. Knowledge in mechanical design and AutoCAD are an added advantage.

  3. Good command in English

  4. Report writing.
