Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of transmission pipeline projects and associated civil works. The successful candidate will manage all phases of the project lifecycle—ensuring delivery on time, within scope and budget, and in compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the full lifecycle of transmission pipeline projects, including associated civil works such as valve chambers, access roads, river crossings, and pump/compressor stations.
  • Develop project plans, budgets, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, consultants, and regulatory agencies.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies throughout project phases.
  • Monitor progress against KPIs, timelines, and budgetary constraints.
  • Ensure compliance with all HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Oversee procurement and contract administration related to materials, services, and subcontractors.
  • Manage stakeholder communications and maintain relationships with local authorities, landowners, and communities, where applicable.
  • Ensure quality control procedures are implemented and followed during construction activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in managing large-scale pipeline infrastructure or similar civil engineering projects.
  • Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams on-site and remotely.
  • Strong knowledge of construction standards, pipeline engineering, and project management tools.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6).
  • Familiarity with industry codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, AWWA, or ISO).
  • PMP certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills.
