  • Handles payments to vendors in an organized and timely manner, scheduling of due accounts, resolving discrepancies in purchase order, invoice or payment discrepancies and documentation.
  • Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying the recorded transaction against posted transactions.
  • Posts transactions, assists in monthly closing and reconciles monthly accounts payable balances.
  • Assists in tracking expenses, direct costs and inventories.
  • Responsible for tracking foreign suppliers and documentation, related to importation.
  • Compliant to calculating required taxes, invoicing requirements are performed accurately and completely.
  • Prepares analysis of accounts.
  • Maintains historical records and protects company's confidential records.
  • Coordinates with Accounting Department to resolve account issues, if any.
  • Assists in streamlining the accounts payable process which includes compliance of accounting system procedures, sets Objective, Targets and Program Settings, Risk Management and improve controls.
  • Actively participates, promotes, and supports all Company-initiated programs and activities.
  • Ensures compliance with ISO standards in the specific area of responsibility.
  • Performs other tasks as may be assigned by immediate superior from time to time.
