Your Role:

• Collaborate closely with the Infrastructure Lead to tackle complex voice-related incidents and implement innovative preventative measures.
• Keep a vigilant eye on system health and voice quality metrics across Windows-hosted UC platforms, ensuring optimal performance at all times.
• Meticulously document system configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and change logs specific to Windows environments, creating a comprehensive knowledge base.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to roll out updates and new features that are fully compatible with Windows systems, driving continuous improvement.
• Champion the security and compliance of UC systems with FLG's IT policies, including adhering to Windows security baselines.
• Provide exceptional technical support and training to end-users on UC tools running on Windows devices, empowering them to maximize their productivity.
• Play a key role in capacity planning and performance tuning of UC systems within the Windows infrastructure, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
• Take charge of documenting the voice space and transferring this invaluable knowledge to members of the service desk, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Work hand-in-hand with other IT team members to maintain the uptime of UC systems, ensuring uninterrupted service and reliability.
• This position may involve additional tasks and responsibilities beyond those mentioned above.

What You Need:

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in VoIP/SIP technologies, showcasing your expertise and dedication to the field.
• Should have experience in at least one of the following platforms: Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), MS Teams, 3CX, Avaya Aura / IP Office, Asterisk, RingCentral, FreePBX, FusionPBX, Amazon Connect, or a similar PBX system
• In-depth understanding of VoIP technologies, SIP protocols, and network infrastructure, making you a valuable asset to our team.
• Proven experience in managing and supporting top-tier UC platforms such as MS Teams, 3CX, TiPT, Avaya, and Amazon Connect, demonstrating your versatility and adaptability.
• Experience with hybrid work environments and remote support, ensuring seamless operations and support regardless of location.
• Familiarity with Meraki SD-WAN infrastructure, adding to your comprehensive skill set (not required)
• Instead of Meraki SD-WAN experience, we're looking for general network experience but with solid VoIP/SIP troubleshooting skills.
• Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills, enabling you to tackle challenges effectively and collaborate with team members.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, showcasing your flexibility and teamwork capabilities.
• Relevant certifications in UC technologies are a plus, highlighting your commitment to professional development.
• CCNP certification is highly desirable, underscoring your advanced knowledge and expertise.
• MSP experience is highly advantageous, bringing valuable insights and experience to our team (not required)
