Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provides completes safety instructions to all employees prior to assignment of duties.
  • Enforces all safety rules, regulations and requirements.
  • Coordinates with regulating bodies any requirements for health and safety.
  • Continually inspect for unsafe practice and conditions and promptly take corrective action to eliminate causes of accidents.
  • Properly investigates all accidents and make reports of same with recommendations for future recurrence and prevention.
  • Monitors good housekeeping and high standards of operational cleanliness
  • Ensures that the employees are provided with proper protective equipment and that it is properly used.
  • Ensures fire protective equipment for proper maintenance and makes sure that employees are trained in its operation.
  • Performs other related duties and special assignments that may be assigned from time to time.
