About the role
RUTTA Consult Inc. is seeking an experienced, licensed, or PRC-registered ENVIRONMENTAL PLANNER to join our team on a contract project base or as a part-time work status. As an ENVIRONMENTAL PLANNER, you will provide technical expertise and assistance to RUTTA Group in the formulation and preparation of Comprehensive Land Use Plan (CLUP), Comprehensive Development Plan (CDP), Tourism Development Plan (TDP), Provincial Development and Physical Framework Plan (PDPFP), and the DOTr's Public Transport Modernization Program component - Local Public Transport Route Plan (LPTRP).
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Crafting and preparation of LGUs' key plans, such as LPTRP, CLUP, CDP, PDPFP, TDP, and others
- Conducting in-depth environmental assessments to identify key issues and opportunities
- Developing comprehensive environmental plans and strategies to mitigate environmental impact and promote sustainable practices
- Collaborating with local stakeholders, including government agencies, community groups, and businesses, to ensure holistic and inclusive planning
- Preparing detailed reports, proposals, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations
- Monitoring and evaluating the implementation of environmental initiatives to ensure they meet set objectives
- Staying up-to-date with the latest regulations, trends, and best practices in environmental planning and transport route planning
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Licensed or PRC-registered Environmental Planner (EnP) with the latest PRC ID
- Minimum 5 years of experience in environmental planning, or have worked as an Environmental Planner, or have been a Planning and Development Officer/Coordinator in any Provincial and Municipal Local Government Units (LGUs).
- Have formulated and prepared the LGU's approved LPTRP, CLUP, CDP, TDP and other key plans.
- Strong understanding of environmental assessment techniques, environmental legislation, and sustainable development principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address complex environmental challenges
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency in data analysis, GIS MAPPING software, and technical report writing
- Familiarity with DOTr and LTFRB Department Orders (DOs), Memorandum Circulars (MCs), and other issuances.
