Description of Duties and Responsibilities:

Job Duties and Priorities:
  • Develop and manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring strong and sustainable banking relationships;
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of banking or financial services experience is required for client portfolio management;
  • Identify opportunities to offer deposit products and other relevant banking services, as well as develop new products, to meet client needs and achieve branch targets;
  • Conduct regular client visits and account reviews to assess financial requirements;
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver seamless service and promptly resolve client concerns.
  • Monitor account performance, overall client activity, and deposit growth to mitigate risks.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all regulatory requirements, internal policies, and compliance standards.
  • Contribute to branch development initiatives, market expansion efforts, and branch-level product promotions.
  • Oversee and ensure the proper turnover of newly established branches or representative offices;
  • Conduct basic area profiling, including research on target locations, to support branch expansion and branch development initiatives.

Job Specifications:

A Bachelor's degree is the minimum educational qualification required for this position.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
  • Master's degree or graduate units is an advantage
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail banking, with a proven track record of successfully managing a branch
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a team
  • Excellent customer service orientation, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Comprehensive understanding of banking operations, products, and regulatory requirements
  • Exceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Key Result Areas (KRA):

  • Number of Newly Opened Deposit Accounts: Achieve targets for new deposit account openings in the branch
  • Maintain Deposit Average Balance: Achieve targeted average daily balance for branches.
  • Achieve Targeted Average Daily Balance for Loan PortfolioEnsure that the branch meets its targeted average daily balance specifically for the loan portfolio.
  • Percentage of Past Due Ratio: Monitor and manage the branch's past due ratio
  • Quality of Accounts: Prevent past due accounts and bad debts through proper credit evaluation and sound credit analysis.
  • Number of Audit Findings: Minimize audit findings by ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulations
