RCM/Medical Biller Supervisor

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in any business, healthcare, or related discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical billing or the revenue cycle process
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end RCM functions such as charge entry, payment posting, and accounts receivable follow-ups
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and proper handling of sensitive health information
  • Hands-on experience using Practice Management Systems (PMS) or similar billing platforms
  • Good grasp of insurance procedures, including interpretation of EOBs and ERAs
  • Advanced skills in Excel and general data management
  • Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to organize work, communicate clearly, and guide a team effectively

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the billing team, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to compliance standards
  • Validate and update patient information, insurance data, and charge details within the billing system
  • Ensure eligibility checks and payer verification are completed before charge processing
  • Manage the submission of claims and troubleshoot any rejections or denials by coordinating with insurance providers
  • Record payments from insurers and patients, and complete reconciliations at the end of each day
  • Review bulk payments, checks, and related documents before posting
  • Follow up on outstanding claims and lead the appeals process as needed
  • Communicate with insurance payers to resolve issues and secure timely reimbursements
  • Prepare and send patient statements accurately and on schedule
  • Apply correct adjustments and contractual write-offs
  • Maintain organized records of all billing activities and correspondence
  • Prepare daily progress or workload confirmation reports and ensure proper sign-offs
  • Uphold compliance with HIPAA regulations and internal company guidelines at all times

Work Schedule: Night shift — 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM

Work Setup: Work-from-home initially; transition to on-site work in Makati once office operations begin
