We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accountant to join our dynamic team. The Accountant will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and providing valuable insights to aid in strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate possesses a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification, strong management accounting skills, a proven track record in BOI Registration, exceptional analytical and reporting capabilities, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.

What you will be doing:

  • Oversee financial operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to implement efficient financial procedures and controls.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth.
  • Assist with the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Support management in strategic decision-making by providing financial insights and recommendations.
  • Coordinate and actively participate in the BOI Registration process to avail of tax incentives and exemptions.
  • Maintain the fixed asset register and ensure proper depreciation accounting.
  • Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit process.
  • Resolve accounting discrepancies and improve financial processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide guidance and training to junior finance team members.

What we're looking for:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience in management accounting, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and payroll.
  • Has a background working in the BPO space or similar industries.
  • Extensive knowledge of BOI Registration procedures and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in accounting software, spreadsheets, and financial management tools.
  • Prior experience in the technology industry or related fields is a plus.
  • Familiarity with international accounting standards and tax regulations is desirable.
  • Strong ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
