About the Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Full-Stack Developer to join our team in building an advanced Planetary Intelligence Platform. This platform integrates natural language processing, geospatial analytics, and machine learning to provide actionable insights for environmental management. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in software development, GIS technologies, and a curiosity to explore and integrate cutting-edge AI and machine learning models.

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable web applications that handle and visualize large datasets of geospatial information.

• Integrate and process geospatial data from various sources, ensuring data integrity and performance.

• Build interactive and user-friendly front-end interfaces using React to display maps and GeoJSON data.

• Develop and maintain back-end services and APIs to serve GeoJSON data efficiently to the front-end.

• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code. Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.

What You Bring

• Proven experience as a full-stack developer

• Strong proficiency in front-end technologies, including React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+) and Python

• In-depth knowledge of GeoJSON and other geospatial data formats

• Experience with mapping libraries such as Mapbox GL JS, Leaflet, or OpenLayers

• Proficiency in and experience with back-end frameworks like Express

• Familiarity with geospatial databases such as PostGIS for PostgreSQL

• Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling

• Knowledge of version control systems, especially Git

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team

• Preferred Qualifications Experience with cloud platforms like AWS and no sql query like mongodb

• Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines

• Experience with performance optimization for geospatial applications. A portfolio showcasing previous work with geospatial applications
