Patent Associate

Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Patent Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the patent portfolio for our clients, preparing and prosecuting patent applications, providing strategic IP advice, and communicating with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare and prosecute patent applications across a wide range of technologies (e.g., technologies/industries like software, biotech, engineering, etc.)

· Conduct patentability, freedom-to-operate, and invalidity searches

· Provide strategic advice to clients on patent strategy and portfolio management

· Draft and review patent claims, responses to office action, and other patent-related documentation.

Qualifications:

· Degree-holder in the natural sciences, e.g Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry; or in Engineering.

· Excellent English written and verbal communication skills

· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· A proactive and solution-oriented mindset
