Union Galvasteel is looking for skilled individuals who will provide technical support, operate, inspect, monitor, and troubleshoot process line equipment to ensure that production output targets, quality, cost, and optimal efficiency are met.

Job Scope

  • Perform walk-by inspection and check sheets using the five senses throughout the process lines, ensure continuous material flow, process, and maintenance corrections to maintain continuous and safe operation.
  • Clean the respective assigned area.
  • To provide basic maintenance knowledge and services, and conduct troubleshooting to correct and restore the operating condition of all machinery.
  • Perform preventive maintenance routine (PMR) and corrective maintenance.
  • Provide the needed technical support and assistance to Operators and Supervisors during operation by attending to urgent requests.
  • Perform commissioning activities of newly repaired, replaced, or installed electrical equipment before turnover to production.

Job Qualifications

  • Graduate in any Engineering, Engineering Technology, or 2-year Vocational courses  (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics &  Communication, Industrial)
  • One  (1) yr experience in equipment maintenance and repair in a similar field
  • Knowledge of Electrical maintenance, welding activities, and machine troubleshooting is required.
  • Work experience in the roofing industry or a construction company is an advantage
  • Must be willing to relocate to Davao.
