JOB SUMMARY

The Structure Mechanic reports directly to the Supervisor (Backshop) and is responsible for the maintenance, repair, servicing, and modification of aircraft cabin and structural components in accordance with the A+ Quality Manual and applicable authorizations. The role ensures compliance with workload targets, KPIs, and productive man-hours, while maintaining quality and safety standards aligned with regulatory requirements. The Cabin Mechanic also contributes to team development and supports continuous improvement in line with company goals.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assures that the compliance of Aircraft cabin and structures services is in accordance with the Airworthiness Standards prescribed by applicable Civil Aviation Regulations, Airworthiness Directives and Industry practices
  • Ensure proper handling and usage of Equipment, Training, Consumables Monitoring and forecasting, Special projects, etc
  • Assures that all workloads dictated by Capacity Planning & material management are well captured and complied with
  • Ensures housekeeping and cleanliness of Shop and assigned work area
  • Reviews all work forms assigned for proper completion and correctness prior submission
  • Maintain reporting protocol and ensure critical unresolved issues are addressed immediately to appropriate management/authority
  • Monitor updates, review, interpret and introduce applicable technical publications not limited to Service Bulletins, Airworthiness Directives, and Special Information Leaflet
  • Inspects and validates (document & physical) life-controlled consumable prior use, ensure not expiry with conformance certificate
  • Accomplishes Time booking, ground handling process and related operations reporting/deliveries
  • Maintains Shop and work area for overall cleanliness, FOD free to ensure a healthy and safe working environment
  • Coordinate, manage and monitor the processes guiding workload compliance to ensure compliance to Regulatory and Authority
  • Performs other related duties that the superior may assign

EDUCATION & TRAINING

  • BS AMT and BS AERONAUTICAL ENGINEERING
  • Trainings for sheetmetal and composite repair
  • Damage mapping training
  • General familiarization (a319/a320/a321, atr 42/72, a33
  • Specialized trainings on permaswage or rynglok repair
  • Dangerous goods handling
  • Hot bonder equipment familiarization

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

  • Atleast 1 year experience on aircraft cabin and structures
  • Aircraft sheetmetal mechanic experience
  • Aircraft composites mechanic experie

SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Must be computer savvy for report creation, monitorings, online system
  • Read and interpret engineering drawing
  • Create layouts guided by the SRM
  • Aircraft painting and chemical handling
