Storekeeper (Riyadh, KSA)

Core responsibilities

• Inventory management: Oversee all activities related to stock, including receiving, storing, and issuing materials, tools, and equipment.
• Receiving and inspection: Accept deliveries from suppliers, check them against purchase orders for accuracy in quantity and quality, and inspect for any damage or discrepancies.
• Storage and organization: Organize the stockroom, store items in designated locations, and ensure a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment. This includes managing the stock layout and applying methods like FIFO.
• Record keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all stock movements, including receipts, withdrawals, and inventory levels.
• Stock control: Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking by initiating purchase requisitions when levels are low and managing stock rotation.
• Issuing and dispatching: Issue materials to authorized users or departments and prepare goods for dispatch.
• Reporting: Generate timely reports, such as a Material Received Report, and assist with audits.
• Other duties: This can include tasks like pricing, packing, and labeling goods, and performing periodic stock counts to verify physical stock against records.
