Duties and ResponsibilitiesIn-Store Execution & Compliance

  • Implement planograms, shelf layouts, and gondola designs in accordance with brand guidelines and Watsons retail standards.
  • Monitor and ensure visual merchandising compliance across all Watsons branches through regular field visits and third-party audit reports.
  • Oversee the installation, maintenance, and removal of permanent and temporary in-store materials, including displays, signage, shelf-talkers, testers, and other point-of-sale (POS) assets.

Trade Display Strategy

  • Develop and adapt visual merchandising strategies to support major trade promotions and new product launches.
  • Collaborate with Brand and Trade Marketing teams to conceptualize and produce in-store visibility materials aligned with ongoing campaigns.
  • Propose customized merchandising solutions to enhance brand blocking, off-shelf visibility, and high-conversion selling zones.

Retail Partner Collaboration

  • Coordinate closely with Watsons Visual Merchandising and Operations teams to align in-store visibility plans and execution timelines.
  • Conduct joint store checks with Key Account Managers or Sales Representatives to assess store-level needs, opportunities, and execution gaps.
  • Prepare and submit display proposals for major trade events, ensuring timely approvals and flawless execution.

Reporting and Analytics

  • Conduct and document monthly store audits and provide detailed reports on planogram compliance, display execution, and VM performance.
  • Analyze the impact of visual merchandising initiatives on product sell-out and recommend data-driven improvements.
  • Track, monitor, and report on the deployment, utilization, and condition of POS materials and visual merchandising assets.
