Industrial Electrician

Job Summary:

The Industrial Electrician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, machinery, and equipment to ensure safe and efficient plant operations. This role supports both preventive and corrective maintenance activities and ensures compliance with electrical, safety, and food manufacturing standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical wiring, systems, and control panels of production and facility equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections of machines, lighting, motors, and electrical circuits.
• Diagnose and repair electrical malfunctions, ensuring minimal production downtime.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Calibrate and test sensors, switches, PLCs, and other control devices.
• Monitor electrical consumption and ensure energy efficiency of equipment.
• Ensure all electrical works comply with safety codes and company policies.
• Coordinate with the Maintenance and Production teams during equipment breakdowns or installations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
• Assist in installation and commissioning of new machines and utilities.
• Observe GMP, 5S, and food safety practices within production areas.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Electrical Technology, Industrial Electricity, or related Technical/Vocational course.
• At least 2 years of experience as an electrician in a manufacturing or industrial setting (preferably food industry).
• Knowledgeable in electrical systems, motors, PLCs, and control circuits.
• Familiar with preventive maintenance programs and troubleshooting techniques.
• Must have understanding of electrical safety standards (PEC/NEC).
• Holder of valid TESDA NC II/III in Electrical Installation and Maintenance (advantage).
• Physically fit and willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, or holidays when required.
• Strong attention to detail, safety consciousness, and sense of responsibility.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php18, Php20,000.00 per month
