About the role

As a Captain Waiter at City Garden Hotel Makati, you will play a vital role in providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Working in a fast-paced, full-time environment, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the wait staff team to ensure seamless service in our prestigious hotel restaurant located in the heart of Makati City, Metro Manila.

What you'll be doing

  • Overseeing a team of waiters and ensuring high standards of service are consistently maintained
  • Monitoring the dining room, anticipating guest needs, and promptly addressing any guest inquiries or concerns
  • Assisting with table set-up, menu presentation, and resolving any service-related issues
  • Communicating effectively with the kitchen staff to coordinate meal service
  • Participating in team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of service standards
  • Adhering to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations within the restaurant

What we're looking for

  • At least 2 years of experience as a captain waiter/Waitress or in a similar supervisory role within the hospitality industry
  • Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to provide a warm, friendly, and professional dining experience
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with the capacity to motivate and mentor a team of waiters
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to effectively liaise with guests and other departments
  • A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering outstanding service
