Debt Collection Specialist – Job Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or any related field (preferred but not required).
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).

Experience:

  • At least 1 to 3 years of experience in debt collection or related field.
  • Virtual Assistant (VA) experience is an advantage.
  • Experience handling international accounts is highly preferred.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation with professionalism in handling challenging situations.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiar with CRM or collection software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet targets under minimal supervision.

Other Requirements:

  • Must be organized, reliable, and results-driven.
  • Can work remotely with a stable internet connection and proper equipment.
