Job Description / Duties
  • Collaborate with the Purchasing Manager to support day-to-day operations of the procurement department
  • Conduct vendor research, evaluation, and selection to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and strengthen supply quality
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors while monitoring their performance and compliance with agreements
  • Review, sign, and renegotiate purchasing contracts to support cost-effective procurement needs
  • Analyze quarterly and annual consumption data to forecast purchasing requirements and manage inventory levels
  • Create and manage purchase orders, track shipment schedules, and maintain accurate procurement documentation
  • Work closely with warehouse personnel to validate deliveries, reconcile discrepancies, and resolve supply issues
  • Perform ongoing market research to identify new vendors, competitive pricing, and beneficial purchasing opportunities
  • Support export-related activities as needed (advantage but not mandatory)
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Purchasing, Supply Chain, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on purchasing/procurement experience
  • Strong knowledge of procurement workflows, inventory principles, and supply management systems
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and vendor management abilities
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Highly organized with strong understanding of sourcing strategies and maintaining supplier relationships
  • Proficient with spreadsheets and data-driven purchasing analysis
  • Ability to operate or quickly learn purchasing software or ERP systems
  • Availability to start immediately
  • Exportation experience is an advantage, but not required
