Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation:Install and upgrade electrical components, wiring, lighting systems, and control systems in new or existing structures.
  • Maintenance:Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems, including motors, generators, and transformers, to prevent malfunctions and power outages.
  • Troubleshooting & Repair:Diagnose and resolve electrical problems, such as power failures or short circuits, by inspecting and testing electrical components like circuit breakers and fuses.
  • Testing:Use various testing devices to ensure all electrical installations and repairs are safe and functioning correctly.
  • Compliance:Adhere to national, state, and local electrical codes, building regulations, and safety procedures to ensure all work is done to standard.
  • Documentation:Maintain records of work performed, materials used, and the status of electrical systems.
  • Collaboration:Work with architects, contractors, and other team members to plan and execute projects effectively.
