Company Profile: Engkanto Taps is a flagship taproom of Engkanto Brewery, known for its award-winning craft beers and unique cocktail creations. The taproom offers a selection of 8 craft beers on tap, including the High Hive Honey Ale and Paint Me Purple Ube Lager, which are popular in the US and Australia. Engkanto Taps also features seasonal brews and a beer flight option for newcomers to explore different beer styles. Engkanto Taps aims to grow the craft community in the country by providing an authentic and fantastic experience with its signature drinks and unique cocktails.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process customer transactions accurately using POS systems, including cash, credit, and digital payments
  • Issue receipts, refunds, and change while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Greet guests and assist with inquiries about menu items, promotions, or pricing
  • Ensure accurate order entry and coordinate with kitchen staff to fulfill orders efficiently
  • Maintain cleanliness of the cashier station and surrounding areas in compliance with health and safety standards
  • Track daily sales and reconcile cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts
  • Handle customer complaints or concerns and escalate issues when necessary
  • Stay informed about menu updates, special offers, and restaurant policies
  • Support front-of-house operations during peak hours, including helping with seating or packaging takeout orders
  • Assist with inventory checks for front counter supplies (e.g., napkins, utensils, packaging)

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  • Previous experience in cashiering, retail, or food service (6 months to 1 year preferred)
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with POS systems and digital payment platforms
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and handle fast-paced environments
