Job Title: Cloud Architect

Location: Alabang, Muntinlupa (3 times a week RTO -Hybrid)

Mode of Hiring: Contract (6 months Extendable depends on performance)

Shift: Day shift

Job Description:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create Architecture and Design documentation of both existing and new Cloud infrastructure.
  • Discuss and provide solution to new projects/improvements requested by the Business Users/Application Owners and/or seen by the Infrastructure team.
  • Maintain under operational conditions the existing and new Cloud - AZURE/AWS environments in respect of the Support processes
  • Build, deploy and administer/manage the current and new Azure environments and features in respect of the Standards defined by the Group

  • Strong level of operational support on:

  • Troubleshooting, incidents and problem management,

  • Reporting and communication on activity, quality and performance of the Azure platforms

  • Ensure appropriate documentation, including procedures for support.

  • Assist implementations of Azure components

  • Pro-active in ensuring stability, response time, operational consistency and life cycle over the Azure solutions

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operating Systems support (Windows and / or Linux)
  • Contribute to search and qualification to new solutions
  • Provide recommendations to highest level of expertise teams

PRIMARY TECHNICAL ABILITIES:

  • Ideal with Azure Administrator certification or Azure Sol. Architect certification
  • Administration and troubleshooting of Azure environments
  • Creating environments in Azure from CODE (infra as a code)
  • Experience in migration of servers from legacy Data centers to Cloud Azure
  • Working knowledge on DevOps automation tools (Terraform, CI/CD, Visual Studio, etc.)
  • Experience with building infrastructures in Azure with securing of the environments: Viral securities, Reliability
  • Strong experience in servers operating systems (Windows or Linux)

SECONDARY TECHNICAL ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge in scripting (Terraform, CLI, Python ideally)
  • Knowledge on Infrastructure Solutions (Servers, Storage …)
  • Knowledge in ITIL framework
  • Experience with other Cloud environment such as AWS, Google, or others
  • Knowledge of DevOps technologies is appreciated

BEHAVIOR ABILITIES:

  • 3-7 years experience in infrastructure, with 1-3 years as Azure administrator
  • Self motivated, eager to learn in the IT profession
  • Team player must be able to work with people within and outside of the IT department.
  • Customer service oriented
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
  • English speaking mandatory
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize situations and understand the business constraints
  • Willing to do some traveling
