Responsibilities

  • Construction: Building walls, chimneys, walkways, and other structures according to project plans.
  • Maintenance and repair: Restoring and repairing existing brick, stone, and concrete structures.
  • Material preparation: Mixing cement, mortar, and other adhesives, and cutting and shaping bricks, stone, and other materials.
  • Concrete finishing: Smoothing and finishing concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
  • Reading blueprints: Interpreting technical drawings and documents to understand project specifications.
  • Safety: Ensuring all work is done in accordance with safety regulations.
  • Equipment operation: Using specialized tools and equipment, such as hammers, chisels, saws, and forklifts.
