Position Description:

The Senior Structural Engineer will play a critical role in the design and analysis of structural systems for projects in the Building Construction and Industrial Facilities industry. This position requires a seasoned professional who can lead complex engineering tasks, ensure structural integrity, and support project delivery from concept through construction. The ideal candidate will work closely with architects, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, efficient, and innovative structural solutions.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead the structural design and analysis of buildings and industrial facilities, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.

  • Prepare design reports, calculations, drawings, and technical specifications.

  • Conduct structural assessments and provide recommendations for rehabilitation or retrofit as needed.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including architects, contractors, and clients, to ensure coordinated and integrated project delivery.

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and drafters.

  • Review and approve design documents and construction submittals.

  • Participate in site inspections and resolve field issues during construction.

  • Contribute to project planning, scheduling, and cost control.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master's degree is a plus.

  • Licensed Civil Engineer (PRC) or equivalent professional accreditation.

  • 8 to 10+ years of relevant experience in structural engineering for building construction and/or industrial facilities.

  • Expertise in using ETABS for structural analysis and design is required.

  • Knowledge of Revit Structural is a plus, but not required.

  • Strong understanding of local and international building codes and standards.

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
