We are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant for a client located in Malta

This is 100% remote work, Monday to Friday

Mid-shift schedule starts at 4 pm (PH time)

Full-time position that pays a Net Salary of 75k per month with 13th-month pay

Must have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role.



Requirements:

A degree in accounting (or equivalent qualification) candidates with such credentials will be given preference

Minimum three (3) years of experience in a similar role.

A versatile and flexible attitude, with excellent communication skills across all levels

Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational abilities

Solid IT proficiency, including advanced Excel skills and competence in MS Office applications

Fluent command of English, both written and spoken

The Role

Reporting directly to the Senior Accounts Assistant, and working closely with other team members, the selected candidate will play a key role in the company's financial operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across the board.

This role operates on the Maltese time zone (Central European Time, UTC +1 / Central European Summer Time, UTC +2).

Key Responsibilities:

Issue invoices for entities within the organisation and oversee the billing process

Prepare and update accounting spreadsheets required for monthly and annual reporting

Prepare and post journal entries accurately and promptly

Support the Finance Director in the preparation of monthly management accounts and assist in the annual audit process

Input and reconcile bank transactions

Oversee the credit control function of the company

Assist with VAT reconciliations and VAT return preparation

Carry out any other accounting or administrative duties to ensure the smooth running of the Finance Department
