Tonic the Agency is expanding their development team, and is looking to fill a full time permanent role for a Senior .NET Developer.

Responsibilities and Duties

Reporting to the Head of Systems & Apps, you will be responsible for delivering code that meets our coding guidelines and standards. Quality assurance is a must – hence, unit testing of your own code is required.

Your day would typically be spent understanding requirements, estimating time on development tasks, working from allocated tickets, implementing new features and enhancements, collaborating with the project team, unit testing, pushing code to repository, code peer reviews, diagnosing and fixing issues.

Attendance of daily morning stand up/developer meetings is mandatory for day-to-day management of your tasks and collaboration with the team.

Ideally you will be available to work during Sydney Australia hours from 9am to 6pm (6am to 3pm Manila time). This role allows you to work from home for a better work / life balance.

Qualifications and Skills

This role requires a minimum of 5 years .NET development experience, with the ideal candidate having an IT/Software Engineering tertiary qualification, along with the following skills set.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Strong experience in C#
  • Strong knowledge in .NET (.NET 7 is preferable)
  • Experience with Visual Studio
  • Experience using Entity Framework
  • Experience with dependency injection patterns
  • RESTful API
  • Experience with security and authentication protocols such as OAuth, JWT, etc.
  • MS SQL Database
  • GIT Source Control
  • MSTEST Unit Tests
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal

Nice to have Experience and Skills:

  • Experience using Autofac
  • Experience with Okta
  • Angular 15
  • TypeScript
  • ASP.NET
  • Atlassian (JIRA and Confluence)
  • Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
  • Understanding of Responsive Web Design and Development
