Full Stack Developer

About the role

We are seeking a versatile Full Stack Developer to support and enhance our internal systems through automation, cloud-based solutions, and web application development. You will work closely with analysts and stakeholders to streamline processes, build scalable tools, and contribute to strategic projects such as cloud solutions and web applications.

As a Full Stack Developer in the growing software development team at Entego, you will play a crucial role in supporting our client's energy market operations whilst providing strategic insights and capability delivering high-impact solutions for enterprise-scale systems.

This full-time position is based in Makati City, Metro Manila, Philippines, with remote working options available and offers opportunities for career development within the dynamic energy industry.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and deliver critical power system operation software solutions.
• Develop automated workflows using Power Automate, Azure Cloud Services, and Python.
• Perform ETL tasks to extract, transform, and load data from various formats and sources.
• Collaborate with project and integration teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Support production readiness and develop relevant documentation and materials.
• Document software systems and write tests to ensure reliability, maintainability, and scalability.
• Support cloud migration and modernisation initiatives.
• Contribute to the ongoing reliability and security of digital systems.

What we're looking for

Technical Skills

• 2-3 years of experience in full stack development (front-end and back-end).
• Experience with Azure cloud services (e.g., Azure Functions, App Services, Azure SQL) and PostgreSQL or similar.
• Familiarity with Power Automate or similar workflow automation tools.
• Exposure to web app development using cloud frameworks or
• Experience building scalable web APIs and working with REST APIs.
• Solid understanding of version control (Git, Bitbucket, JIRA), and unit testing.
• Knowledge of data modelling and Data Analysis Tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, or Infrastructure as Code is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Python and one front-end framework (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue) is advantageous.
• Knowledge of SCADA, PI, or real-time systems is an advantage.

General Skills

• Diligent in producing robust and security-mindful code.
• Keen to improve processes through automation and intelligent tooling.

• Awareness of cybersecurity principles and secure coding practices.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or Applied Sciences.
• Passion for staying up-to-date with energy industry trends and innovations.
• Understanding of Electricity, Electricity markets or power networks is advantageous and desirable.
• Fluent in English and Filipino.
