Responsibilities:

Create a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts

Ensure ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and available for use

Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following proper food handling, storage and sanitation procedures

Plate and present pastries attractively for display in the café, ensuring they are visually appealing

Contribute ideas to the dessert menu, helping to develop new and seasonal offerings or refine existing ones

Ensure that all pastries and desserts are consistent in flavor, texture, appearance and quality

Qualifications:

Experience in a similar pastry or baking role

Familiarity with basic pastry preparation, cake decorating and working with dough, creams and chocolates

Ability to work well in a fast paced and team-oriented environment

Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
