ABOUT THE ROLEAs a Systems Engineer, you will handle complex tasks, projects and will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our organization's technology infrastructure, from workstations, servers, tablets, printers, phones, networks, vendor-specific hardware, software, and general administration tasks. 

YOUR DAILY TASKS

  • Participate in the scope and design of Azure Cloud solutions
  • Participate in the deployment, configuration, and management of Azure Cloud solutions
  • Manage existing customers' Azure Cloud infrastructure and services
  • Creation and maintenance of related service documentation and guides
  • Mentor and support less experienced Cloud Admins/Resources

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

What You'll Bring(About You & Technical Experience)

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • 5+ years of experience working in cloud-based environments
  • At least 3 years of commercial experience with Microsoft Azure
  • Solid understanding of Azure Cloud services and architecture
  • Hands-on experience in deploying and managing Azure services (VMs, Storage, Backup, Virtual Networks)
  • Broad knowledge of cloud computing, programming, database design, enterprise software, operating systems, and hardware
  • Strong grasp of system administration concepts including virtualization, containers, storage, encryption, security, network connectivity, firewalls, and load balancing
  • Extensive experience with Windows Servers and Desktop OS
  • Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems
  • Familiarity with one or more project management methodologies
  • Experience with Azure native services (Policy, Cost Management, Lighthouse, Monitor/Log Analytics, Security Center)
  • Certifications not required but considered an advantage
