Software Developer

Job Description:

The primary purpose of this role is to design, develop, and maintain software solutions that support system integration, internal automation, and smart building technologies. As an integral member of the Technology team, the Software Developer collaborates with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable, and efficient software applications that enhance project delivery and internal operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software solutions that support system integrations and internal applications.
  • Build and support internal tools and automation solutions to improve operational efficiency and business workflows.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, project teams, and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate technical and business requirements into effective software solutions.
  • Configure and implement software systems based on project-specific and operational requirements.
  • Participate in planning, design reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives to align development activities with company objectives.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues to ensure system reliability and performance.
  • Maintain proper documentation, code versioning, and development best practices.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies, tools, and industry best practices to continuously improve software solutions.
  • Support deployment, implementation, and post-deployment activities as required.
  • Perform other duties related to software development and system support as assigned.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong programming and full-stack development skills (frontend, backend, and database).
  • Knowledge of system integration concepts such as APIs, webhooks, and message queues.
  • Proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Python, JavaScript, , React).
  • Experience using version control systems and development tools (e.g., Git, Docker, CI/CD pipelines).
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in full-stack software development.
  • At least 2 years experience in system integration and API-based connectivity.
  • Experience in developing or configuring internal tools and automation solutions.
  • Experience working in cross-functional or project-based environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and smart building technologies is an advantage.
