Key Responsibility:

Reporting and Data Management:

  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date operational dashboards and system performance reports.
  • Generate regular service reliability, incident, and availability reports that provide actionable insights for engineering and leadership teams.
  • Analyze trends in incidents, alerts, capacity, and system performance to identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and completeness across monitoring and observability tools.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and Cloud Engineering to collect and consolidate metrics required for SLO/SLI reporting.
  • Support automation of reporting processes to reduce manual effort and improve real-time visibility.
  • Organize and maintain documentation repositories, runbooks, and technical knowledge bases.

Ticketing Tool Support:

  • Monitor, triage, and manage operational tickets related to infrastructure, system alerts, deployments, and reliability issues.
  • Ensure timely response and resolution of tickets in accordance with SLAs.
  • Categorize and prioritize tickets based on severity, impact, and business urgency.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to investigate technical issues and implement fixes.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior SREs or specialized teams when required.
  • Maintain accurate ticket records, including root causes, actions taken, and lessons learned.
  • Identify recurring issues and propose automation or process improvements to reduce ticket volume.
  • Support continuous improvement of the ticketing workflow, including templates, routing rules, and categorization standards.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of Site Reliability Engineering experience
  • Hands-on experience with New Relic, Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog monitoring and observability tools
  • Proven experience working with Azure/AWS cloud platform including VM provisioning, networking, storage, scaling, and cost‑efficient operations
  • Competence in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Go
  • Familiarity with modern CI/CD systems (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.) including pipeline troubleshooting, deployment validation, build automation, and release process support.
