BASIC FUNCTION: Employees in this job maintain, install, troubleshoot and repair a variety of electronic and electro-mechanical equipment such as scientific instruments, laboratory equipment, freeway information signs, television monitoring equipment, computer-controlled automated gas and liquid chromatographs, micro- processors, intercommunication systems, traffic recorders, telephone systems, public address and paging systems, and fire alarm systems

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Operates, maintains, repairs, and calibrates electronic and electro-mechanical equipment.

  2. Establishes specifications and make computations for the manufacturing process.

  3. Estimates labor and material costs for proposed equipment.

  4. Troubleshoots and resolves electronic and electrical malfunctions.

  5. Conduct studies on the efficiency of methods, materials and equipment.

  6. Modifies existing equipment to fit needs of the workplace.

  7. Prepares technical reports related to the work.

  8. Performs related work as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Possession of an associate's degree in electrical, electro-mechanical, electronics engineering, or electronics technology.
  • Two years of experience in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical, and electronic equipment
  • Knowledge of electrical and electro-mechanical principles.
  • Knowledge of analog and digital electronics.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php17,000.00 per month
