As a Process Engineering Intern, you will support the Process Engineering team by assisting with process documentation, data gathering, and workflow analysis. Your role contributes to improving operational efficiency by helping document processes, identifying opportunities for enhancement, and supporting project teams with relevant updates and reports. You will work closely with engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, organized, and useful process information.

YOUR OVERALL MISSION & DAY-TO-DAY

Process Analysis & Requirements Gathering

• Assist Process Engineers and Analysts in conducting process assessments and reviews, ensuring all activities and progress are accurately documented.

• Support the preparation and maintenance of clear and reliable process documentation for assigned projects.

Data Collection and Analysis

• Help collect and organize data related to sales, inventory, operations, and other performance indicators

• Present time studies, simulations, and root-cause analyses to support workflow improvement initiatives.

• Provide recommendations for process improvements based on data findings and observed operational issues.

Stakeholder Engagement & Requirement Validation

• Communicate with stakeholders to validate requirements and confirm alignment with project objectives.

• Assist in facilitating discussions to ensure process owners understand proposed changes and their implications.

• Guide in ensuring consistent and effective communication between business units and technical teams. Coordination With Developers & Project Teams

• Support communication about process and system requirements to developers and clarify technical or operational concerns as needed.

• Participate in discussions regarding enhancements, milestones, and implementation timelines.

• Assist in testing system features or process changes to ensure compliance with documented requirements.

Process Improvement & Optimization

• Help the team identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization or automation.

• Present ideas in improvement initiatives supported by relevant data and observations.

• Support the team with documentation on updated processes, SOPs, and workflow maps.

YOUR TALENT

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting Technology, MIS, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proficient in tools such as MS Excel, MS Word, and Power Apps.

• Knowledge of Lean principles, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies is an advantage.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.

• Familiarity with process mapping techniques (SIPOC, flowcharts, and value stream mapping)

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
