Work you will do

Deloitte's Enterprise Application SAP practice helps organization solve complex business issues by combining process and industry knowledge with deep expertise in enabling technologies and packaged software and this team is expanding rapidly.

Outside of your client facing and advisory work, you will also play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Deloitte's SAP practice. We are looking for leaders of the future, and we offer training to ensure every Consultant has the potential to make it to the top. As an organization we continue to grow faster than our rivals by continually challenging what we do and how we do it.

• Develop and enhance custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF).

• Utilize ABAP Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, and Enhancement Frameworks.

• Develop and manage Adobe Forms for output documents such as invoices, delivery notes, labels or purchase orders.

• Develop and support interfaces that allow SAP to communicate with other systems.
• Use technologies like IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, Web Services, and preferably CDS/OData to create integrations.
• Test the developed code for functionality, bugs, and performance issues.
• Perform debugging to identify and resolve issues within the codebase.
• Document technical specifications and code.
• Support project go-lives, upgrades, and migrations.
• Provide post-implementation support, troubleshoot issues, and assist with system maintenance.

Enough about us, let's talk about you

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent
• 3-5 years of applied experience in ABAP program development & support on both SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC
• Strong technical proficiency in object-oriented ABAP development, including debugging, and problem management.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience working in an Agile/DevOps environment, familiar with work management using Scrum, Kanban, CI/CD as well as tools such as Jira, Octane, Trello, Asana and ADO.
• Strong foundation in IDocs, interfaces, enhancements, and Adobe forms
• Solid understanding of integration to SAP modules such as OTC, SD, FIN, PM and CS.
• Knowledge of XML, work pool, and SAP XI/CPI would be an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with demonstrated experience working effectively in a multi-ethnic and multicultural global team
