About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Food Safety and Sanitation Coordinator to join the team at The Moment Group, a dynamic food technology and safety company based in Makati City, Metro Manila. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of food safety and sanitation across the organisation's operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive food safety and sanitation policies and procedures
  • Conducting regular inspections and audits to monitor compliance with food safety regulations and industry best practices
  • Providing training and guidance to staff on food safety and sanitation protocols
  • Investigating and addressing any food safety-related incidents or concerns
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to continuously improve food safety and sanitation processes
  • Maintaining detailed records and documentation to demonstrate compliance with all relevant regulations
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest food safety and sanitation regulations and best practices

What we're looking for

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in food science, food technology, or a related field
  • Proven experience in a food safety and sanitation role, preferably within the food technology industry
  • Thorough understanding of food safety regulations, HACCP principles, and industry best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively train and guide staff
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address food safety risks
  • Proficient in data analysis and report writing
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food safety and sanitation
  • At least 1-2 years' experience as a Food Safety and Sanitation Coordinator preferably in a catering business or casual dining restaurant
