About the role

Crackerjack Building Solutions' is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our team on a contract basis in Nueva Vizcaya, Cagayan Valley. As a Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our construction projects, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards and in compliance with relevant regulations and safety protocols.

What you'll be doing

  1. Overseeing the day-to-day operations at the construction site, including managing subcontractors and coordinating with the project team
  2. Monitoring and enforcing adherence to safety procedures and policies to maintain a safe working environment
  3. Conducting site inspections and testing to identify and resolve any issues or non-conformities
  4. Preparing and maintaining detailed reports, records, and documentation related to the project
  5. Collaborating with the design team to provide technical input and ensure the successful implementation of the project plans
  6. Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing effective solutions

What we're looking for

  1. A bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related field
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Engineer or in a similar role within the construction industry
  3. Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and equipment
  4. Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and regulations
  5. Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
  6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  7. Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and the ability to ensure their implementation
  8. Proficiency in the use of construction management software and tools
