Lifeguard

About the role

We're looking for an experienced Lifeguard to join the team at Awesome Hotel Inc.' in our beautiful resort in San Juan La Union. As a Lifeguard, you'll be responsible for ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our guests while they enjoy our pools and beach. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

What you'll be doing

• Constantly monitor the pool and beach areas to identify and mitigate any potential safety risks
• Provide immediate and effective response to any incidents or emergencies that may occur
• Administer first aid and CPR as needed
• Enforce pool and beach rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment
• Assist with pool maintenance and cleaning tasks as required
• Educate guests on safe swimming practices and pool/beach policies
• Maintain detailed records of all incidents and interventions

What we're looking for

• Certified Lifeguard qualification with current First Aid and CPR certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Lifeguard in a similar resort or hotel setting
• Strong swimming skills and the physical ability to perform water rescues
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in emergency situations
• Commitment to upholding high safety standards
